"A Scholarship
Program"

| |

So ... what's a Comfort Cap? Sewn from soft knit
material, Comfort Caps are designed to protect the sensitive scalp of cancer patients
undergoing treatment. Miss Mobile Bay Scholarship Program introduced this project to
Mobile...and it continues to grow rapidly. Since October 1999, over 3000 Comfort Caps have been
distributed throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Louisiana from our efforts.

|
Volunteers
donate their time, materials, and expertise to make the Comfort Caps.
This particular afternoon at Nostalgic Needlework, we made over 75 caps.
Tiffany and Sandy, a cancer survivor, help cut out the fabric.

Learning to
sew a Comfort Cap is easy….it takes about 20 minutes to make one from
start to finish…and Tiffany's Mom is proud that she finally learned to
sew! |
